Production notes
The Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay is the essence of the art of blending select barrels from our estate vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills. Our belief is that the combination of Dijon clones, Jory soil and the high elevation of our Dundee Hill estates gives us unparalleled fruit for this reserve wine.
Tasting notes
An explosion of complexity, the 2016 Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay bursts with gorgeous aromas of fresh cut pineapple, guava, and melon. Ever changing in the glass, a second layer presents itself with classic chardonnay notes of pronounced apple, pear and brioche. Extremely integrated and harmonious on the palate, bright acidity is met by a rich and full mouthfeel with beautifully pure expressions of citrus and melon. The finish is framed by an elegant minerality that seems to linger for days. This is Oregon Chardonnay at its finest. Pairs extremely well with tuna tartar, grilled fish, seafood and white meats .
