Childhood friends, one day came, in 1994, when Catherine and Louis' eyes met differently, and from then on they made a common future out of their two destinies. Destinations, plantations, births, training... the couple pursued their destiny, until the day Chablis finally called them definitively to exploit its terroir. One estate, 18 hectares and a few years later, the very first vintage is bottled and is about to surprise Chablis wine lovers. The personality of the terroir of L&C Poitout and the know-how of its owners are thus revealed by a thoughtful viticulture, as natural as possible, and a parcel-by-parcel vinification revealing an interesting panel of wines. All treatments and interventions are controlled. Tractor, washing slab, thermo-regulated tanks...; the technological and ecological equipment contributes to this control at each stage of the elaboration of their Chablis wines.
