Established in the village of Saint-Aubin in the côte d’or, our family has been cultivating vines since 1885. The vineyard area stretches over more than 70 hectares, throughout 14 villages in the côte de Beaune, côte de nuits and côte chalonnaise. Respecting the soil and nature, we highlight the purity of our fruits to reveal the unique character of our single vineyards. Domaine Roux wines are served in fine restaurants and available from premium retailers in more than fifty countries. Since 1984, the Roux Family operates a premium sourcing. High quality grapes are selected and harvested from historical winegrowers. The most renowned climates in Premiers and Grands Crus come complete the estate portfolio. For many years Domaine Roux has adopted a biological approach to its viticulture. 2020 is their last year before official organic conversion of specific plots. Also, they are constantly working towards a reduction of sulfur and copper treatment. Mechanical weeding is always prioritized instead of grass killer. Development of massal selection to conserve the plant heritage of the vines. To highlight the character of each terroir, the family has a single vineyard vinification approach regarding their winemaking. The priority remains the pure expression of the fruit, for example the use of new oak is limited.
