Bodegas Navarro Lopez
Laguna de la Nava Gran Reserva Magnum
2015
About this winery
At present, our winery has its own vineyards of 190 hectares. Of which 140 are red varieties and the rest white. Doroteo Navarro's double condition as winegrower and winemaker has meant that its own vineyards have been the basis for achieving the quality of its wines. Currently, Bodegas Navarro López has red varieties such as Tempranillo, Shiraz, Graciano, Merlot and also the native white varieties of the area, such as Macabeo and Airén, although in recent years Verdejo has also been planted....

Tasting notes
Dark red garnet colour, with russet undertones. In the nose it has a spicy aroma (black pepper, clove, nutmeg) and balsamic, toasted and milk coffee notes. On the palate it is well rounded and structured, full bodied, smooth, and full of flavour. Food and wine pairing: Quebec leg of lamb with sweet spices and berry sauce, beef with mushroom sauce, grilled fillet of beef and Chilean pebre sauce.
