At present, our winery has its own vineyards of 190 hectares. Of which 140 are red varieties and the rest white. Doroteo Navarro's double condition as winegrower and winemaker has meant that its own vineyards have been the basis for achieving the quality of its wines. Currently, Bodegas Navarro López has red varieties such as Tempranillo, Shiraz, Graciano, Merlot and also the native white varieties of the area, such as Macabeo and Airén, although in recent years Verdejo has also been planted. A large part of the vineyards are guided on trellises, despite which a totally manual harvest is maintained to safeguard the maximum quality of the raw material. In addition, there are old vines with Greek goblet pruning. In addition, Navarro López controls nearly 700 hectares of vineyards, the vast majority of which are red varieties, from a score of vine growers with whom we work side by side to harvest at the optimum moment of ripeness of the grapes.
