About this winery

Domaine Millet is a family property created in the early 80's on the Marcault farm in Tonnerre by Philippe Millet and is now managed by his sons Paterne and Beaudoin. This Chablis vineyard is located in the northernmost wine-growing region of Burgundy where the climate is continental and the 4 seasons are well marked: winters are harsh, springs are freezing, summers are hot and autumns offer optimal ripening conditions for the grapes. Production notes

Once we believe that the grapes have reached full maturity, the harvest begins. which, depending on the vintage, takes place in September or early October. After pressing, we vinify the juice only in stainless steel or enamelled steel tanks to preserve the aromas of the Chablisian terroir.

Tasting notes

Light yellow color with golden reflections, is limpid and brilliant, the nose is simple but delicate. A lot of freshness comes out of the glass as well as nice notes of fruits and flowers. The attack in the mouth is very supple and the wine covers the mouth in a smooth and smooth way. Yellow peach and mango aromas, followed by a slightly peppery flavor. On the finish, and a nice touch of freshness . A perfect balance. Food pairings: Excellent with seafood and shellfish such as, Rockefeller oysters, squid,stuffed, crab pasta, cod acras, fish and chips.
