Product notes

Pairs well with roasted meats (lamb, beef) or fairly spicy tartares.

Production notes

Full vinification in four 500-liter barrels (demi-muids). Barrels from Allary Cooperage, medium toast. Three weeks of maceration, followed by racking into two 500-liter barrels. Aging for 30 months: placed in barrels in October 2020 and racked in April 2023.

Tasting notes

Very deep, intense black color. Powerful and expressive nose with well-integrated oak revealing notes of black fruits and candied fruits. On the palate, the attack shows beautiful volume with well-balanced sweetness and a smooth texture that carries through the entire palate. Aromas of chocolate and spices emerge delicately and persist through the finish. The finish is long, with well-rounded tannins, resulting in a wine that is both powerful and elegant.
