In the 19th century many individual growers in the region joined together out of economic necessity to form small wine-growing cooperatives: they aimed to work more efficiently by joining forces. In 1969, the major cooperatives merged with Hauptkellerei Koblenz to form the largest wine-growing cooperative in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Production notes
Gentle pressing, strict purification of musts, fermentation with selected yeasts under temperature controlled conditions, storage in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting notes
This is a crisp Pinot Gris with flowery aromas and a palate of ripe apricots and pears. It provides a great and refreshing taste experience. A food friendly wine asking for light dishes, for example fish and seafood or pasta. Serve well chilled.
