Production notes
Domaine Serene’s “r” Rosé is made in the same style as the great Rosé wines of the world from Provence. “R” Rosé is a delicate, dry, Bandol style Rosé blended using a proprietary blend of grapes from prestigious vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley, and greater Oregon. We then artfully blend both new wine, and barrel aged wine to achieve a graceful balance of freshness, richness and complexity.
Tasting notes
The ' R ' Rosé offers vibrant aromatics consisting of tropical papaya notes, stone fruit, and strawberry mixing with watermelon, rose petals, citrus, and minerality. On the palate the wine approaches with smooth texture, fresh red berry flavors, and lingering acidity. Pairs well with salmon sashimi, salmon cooked on a cedar plank, lobster, tuna, Niçoise salad and mild soft cheeses.
