About this winery

The port of Loudenne then allows the wines to be shipped by sea to London and also to their distribution counters around the world. They built the ultra-modern winery for the time and modelled the park in the English style. For 125 years, the Gilbey family, and then the company they created, built the reputation of the vineyard and made Loudenne an essential place to live and receive guests. Production notes

In temperature-controlled stainless-steel or concrete tanks. Horizontal pressing. Separation and selection of press juice. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.

Tasting notes

Beautiful deep cherry-red color. The nose reveals notes of red fruits, red pepper and blackberry, alongside a hint of blackcurrant and subtle dashes of violet, chocolate and woodiness. Its full-bodied palate is fruity, balanced, and fresh. The wine enjoys a nice long finish, with delicate tannins.
