About this winery

At present, our winery has its own vineyards of 190 hectares. Of which 140 are red varieties and the rest white. Doroteo Navarro's double condition as winegrower and winemaker has meant that its own vineyards have been the basis for achieving the quality of its wines. Currently, Bodegas Navarro López has red varieties such as Tempranillo, Shiraz, Graciano, Merlot and also the native white varieties of the area, such as Macabeo and Airén, although in recent years Verdejo has also been planted....

Tasting notes

Deep red cherry colour with mellow ruby undertones. In the nose it presents primary aromas of plum, blackberry and preserves combined with anis, natural liquorice, vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon and balsamic. A well balanced wine although tannic and yet smooth on the palate. Food and wine pairing: Good match with red meat (beef, lamb, roast pork), cold cuts and mature cheeses.
