About this winery

In the 80's, a Champenois impregnated with the great tradition of sparkling wines understood all the interest of the Limoux terroir in Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée since 1938 - one of the oldest in France - and decided to settle there. Michel Dervin bought a few hectares of vines to produce the famous Blanquette de Limoux. In 2002 Jacques Calvel took over the reins. Production notes

Traditional method with a delicate and progressive pneumatic pressing. For this ’’coeur de cuvéee ‘’(first press) Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes

This special bottle was created in honour of the « Brut Originel ». Delighted foam with golden hinted robe wherein lie the majestic strings of delicate bubbles. On the palate the aromas of toast, honey and exotic fruits are well balanced. This sparkling wine is soft and full, powerful as long on the finish.
