From the "San Basso" and "Tarà" wineries come the grapes of the native Italian vineyards that we cultivate to produce all our D.O.C. and I.G.T. wines: Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Passerina and Pecorino, for which we guarantee a high and constant level of quality thanks to the control of the supply chain and the daily care of our vineyards. The vineyards owned by our family are between 20 and 30 years old and occupy an area of about 30 hectares out of a total of 95 in the company. The estates are inserted in a naturalist complex of considerable value, surrounded by two large Inklands canyons criss-crossed by deep ditches, which join together to form the nearby Fiobbo stream. The typical microclimate of the "badlands" and woods makes their habitats ideal places for wine-growing thanks to the intense day/night excursions, naturally sheltered from the cold tramontana winds offered by the cliffs and the great availability of rainwater that collects at the bottom of the valley according to the natural life cycle of the waters. The complex ecosystem created by this unique geography is home to a wide range of animal and plant species typical of the Mediterranean belt, which today represents an authentic heritage of native bio-diversity.
