Product notes

Saint Cosme Châteauneuf-du-Pape comes from three climates, the most famous of which is the La Crau plateau with its distinctive pebbles on clay, bringing power and structure to the blend. The Valori and Christia climates are on sandy soils, giving the wine its aroma and freshness.

Production notes

The wine is a blend of grenache mourvèdre, syrah and cinsault, made with whole grapes of indigenous yeasts, aged for 24 months in old 228-liter barrels and bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting notes

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the strongest, most powerful and longest wine of the Southern Rhône Louis Barruol's Châteauneuf-du-Pape, grown under contract, is a classic expression of the region with marzipan, raisins, cinnamon and cherry. Food pairings: Pairs well with stews, braised and grilled meats.
