Product notes

A few words about Vinsobres. This Village became a cru in 2006. It remains an unknown vintage even though it benefits from the same level of classification, in the hierarchy of appellations, as Gigondas, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Cote-Rotie and Hermitage which we know well. Immediately at the door of the Alps, the appellation has the advantage of being regulated by cold winds, bringing a significant balance in the wines. The Pliocene clay soils bring a lot of fruit and structure. Vinsobres has a long and impressive history, dominated by the presence of the Lords of Verona, the owners of the castle of Rouanne, called "Lords of Rouanne" from the medieval period to the French Revolution.
