Production notes
Known for taking the road less traveled, Michael David Winery has always stayed away from the crowd. Whether it’s their brands, their packaging, or their eccentric personalities, Michael and David are definitely masters of their own stage, and this wine embodies all of that. The fruit of this brute comes from Michael Phillips' original "super freak" vineyard, located not far from the winery. Surprisingly agile and elegant, it demonstrates a beautiful harmony between strength and balance
Tasting notes
This Cabernet has aromas of black cherries, blackberries, and toasted spices. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows notes of dark berries, cassis, oak, and a hint of vanilla. Soft, smooth tannins lead to a long finish.
