Tasting notes

Colour Deep ruby. Nose Aromas of ripe black cherry, cassis, eucalyptus, dried thyme and fresh mint, with hints of cigar box, black top and graphite. Palate Full bodied and firm in structure; velvety with a prune note up front; smooth, granular tannins wrapped in macerating cherry and succulent black currant fruit anchor the middle, framed by plush, lightly resinous edges; the tannins taper to a fine-grain, drawing into a long, layered finish of ripe blueberry, rhubarb, cedar, sage and black pepper.
